Hey everyone! I'm planning to do a clean install of Windows 11 after my computer was almost scammed through AnyDesk, and I need some help with the partitions. I see two partitions on Disk 1 labeled as 'esd-usb' and 'Unallocated space'—should I assume those are from the USB drive I'm booting from? Also, for Disk 0, should I delete all the partitions, including the recovery partition? I want to make sure I'm doing this right!

Yes, you can delete all the partitions on the system disk (Disk 0). Just make sure you're left with one unallocated space afterward. The system partitions like EFI and recovery will be created automatically when you reinstall.
Exactly! Just leave the USB drive as it is. You're good to go!
Besides the install, don’t forget to reset all your passwords and set up two-factor authentication after you’re done. It’ll help keep your system secure moving forward!
If your PC came with Windows pre-installed, check if there's a recovery option available. It usually allows you to erase everything and reinstall the original factory setup. I haven't specifically tried this for Windows 11, but older versions had this feature.
So, just to clarify, we're keeping the USB drive intact and clearing everything else, right?
