I recently experienced a sudden failure with my Intel Core i7-14700K CPU. My system was running perfectly with no crashes or blue screens, but then out of the blue, I got a blue screen error and now the system won't boot at all. I've already updated the BIOS to the latest version as recommended. I'm really baffled by this situation. Is there anything I can do? Does Intel offer any support for this kind of issue? Here are my system specs: CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K, CPU Cooler: Lian Li Galahad II Trinity Performance (360mm), Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M AORUS ELITE AX DDR4, RAM: 64 GB DDR4 3600 MHz, GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT, PSU: Corsair HX1200i.

In my experience, Intel has a pretty good RMA process, so hopefully, you'll get through this okay. Still, it's odd how your CPU just failed like that. I suggest troubleshooting a bit first - it might not even be the CPU that's the culprit!

First off, are you sure it's the CPU that's at fault? You might want to check if there’s an error code or something else that indicates the problem. It could potentially be your PSU or even another part that's causing the issue. Just a thought!

That's a good point! Sometimes motherboards can show errors related to the CPU without it actually being the problem. It's tricky to figure out without proper diagnostics.

Exactly! In some cases, the motherboard might get stuck on a CPU debug LED, giving you the wrong impression. Did you run any diagnostics?
