I'm looking for a way to prevent the Mark of the Web from appearing on files downloaded to a specific folder. I've used PowerShell and the unblock feature in Properties, but I want to completely eliminate that step. Is there any method to make files downloaded to a particular folder automatically unblocked or ignore the Mark of the Web?

Unfortunately, you can't entirely disable the Mark of the Web (MotW) as it's a built-in security feature. However, there are some workarounds: you can add the download source to your trusted sites or the publisher to your trusted publishers list. If you’re dealing with Excel spreadsheets that you created, signing the document can also help you avoid this issue.
