I just got my iPhone 16e and tried charging it on an older wireless charger for about half an hour. When I took it off, it felt pretty warm. I've used this charger before with my iPhone SE 3rd generation and my AirPods Pro 2 without any overheating issues. I'm wondering if this warmth is an issue with the new iPhone 16e or if it's just because I'm using an older wireless charger. Additionally, I have a MagSafe Spigen case on my 16e—does that affect charging?

It's totally normal for phones to get a bit warm during wireless charging, especially newer models. The charging process can generate some heat as energy escapes. So, unless it's excessively hot, you should be fine!
Got it, thanks! I've just never noticed my previous phone getting this warm. Good to know it's normal.
