What’s the Best Way to Introduce Kids to AI?

I'm usually focused on teaching web development, C++, and Java, but now I have a parent asking for help with teaching AI to their kids. While I'm familiar with machine learning and data models, I think those concepts might be too advanced for young learners who aren't well-versed in computer architecture, networking, or even basic programming. On the flip side, they've outgrown Scratch, having already worked with it and now feeling bored. Does anyone have suggestions for resources or learning paths that strike the right balance—something not too advanced yet above Scratch?

Hold on a second! Are you sure the parent means teaching them about AI in a deep sense? It sounds more like they want you to show the kids how to interact with AI tools instead. Kids get really excited about creating their own projects, and that could be the way to go!

That makes sense! They probably want their kids to stay current with technology, especially since AI is so popular these days. Letting them play around with building their own mini-AI projects could spark a lot of interest!

Honestly, you might want to rethink teaching them AI altogether. Kids should have the chance to really understand the concepts behind it before diving in. Maybe let them explore coding basics first—that way, they learn how to think critically instead of just memorizing.
