Best Setup for Multiple Terminal Servers by Department?

I'm in the process of upgrading my very old terminal server setup and am considering implementing three new servers. My goal is to assign servers based on departments rather than having everyone connect to one server. For instance, I'd like HR and Fiscal to use one server while the C-suite uses another. How can I effectively manage this? Is it possible to give all the servers the same virtual name and let the system decide which one to connect to based on user groups, or do I need to set up three separate servers and direct each department to their designated one? I've also considered incorporating roaming profiles but want to avoid conflicts between the terminal server and the desktop computers used in the office, not to mention the storage demands for all these profiles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You could set up one server farm and utilize User Profile Disks (UPDs) along with folder redirection. This way, minimal data will actually hit the Remote Desktop Session Hosts (RDSH). A 100GB C drive on each server should be sufficient for quite a bit of usage. All users keep their data centralized and accessible without cluttering the RDSH.
