I'm trying to pick the right Linux distribution but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the choices. Ideally, I want something that's great for gaming and can run PyCharm. Is PyCharm available on Linux, and what distros do you recommend?

You might want to check out Ubuntu! It's user-friendly and has a lot of community support.
CachyOS could be a solid choice for you; it's tailored for gamers and performs really well. I also recommend checking out Garuda OS if you’re open to Arch-based distros—Pycharm is available in the AUR, so you should have no issues there!
If you want an easy setup, I'd go for Nobara. It's designed specifically for gaming and should have Pycharm available too.
For a solid gaming experience, consider Pika OS or Pop OS. They both have good support for gaming and a friendly interface.
Garuda has really good gaming performance, plus it's easy to set up if you're familiar with Arch.
