I've been planning my PC build for a month now, and I keep seeing TikToks and videos suggesting Nvidia will lower their prices below MSRP soon. Some people seem to regret buying now because of this. I'm in the Middle East, where price changes take a while to happen, so I'm unsure if I should wait or just go ahead and make my purchase. I'm looking to buy the 5070 Ti, which is currently priced at $1050 (and that's the MSRP model). What do you think?

And honestly, don't believe everything you hear on TikTok!
No one can really answer that for you. You’ll have to decide if waiting for maybe a $100 drop is worth losing out on getting your build done sooner!
I’m skeptical about those price drops. TikTok isn't exactly a reliable source for this kind of info.
Just check your crystal ball—nobody really knows what’s going to happen with the prices or releases.
I've been waiting for prices to drop ever since coin mining drove them up.
Yeah, I’ve been holding off since the 1060 days. Here we are still waiting!
Forget the rumors! A lot of TikTok creators post stuff just to get views. You should really check current prices and make your own comparisons. GPUs are in high demand now, especially with AI and gaming, so prices are likely to stay high. Just look at how previous gen GPUs are priced now compared to when they launched. Bottom line: what price drops?
Good point, thanks for sharing that perspective!
Is that $1050 in USD? That seems a bit high and not really the MSRP. Honestly, nobody knows for sure if prices will really drop. If the trends from the last few years mean anything, they haven't dropped much below MSRP, aside from some rare local deals. So it might be worth considering buying now rather than waiting!
I might have overestimated those price drops too, so I think I’ll just buy now.

If the supposed drop is just $100, I think I'd rather buy now and enjoy my setup!
