Getting Back into PC Building: Need Advice on My Build

Hey everyone! I'm diving back into building a PC after quite a while—last time I had a desktop, I was only using a laptop. I've done some research and put together a part list for my new build, but I could really use your expertise before I finalize everything.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. I'm using a Samsung 970 Evo SSD from my old laptop, so it's a bit used.
2. I also have an old 3.5" HDD that I'd like to include for extra storage, even though I don't really need it.
3. For the power supply, I found a PSU but I'd like to make use of my old 650W one since I'm on a budget. Could you let me know what I should be wary of when using an older PSU with new components? Could it lead to performance issues or increased power draw?
4. Overall, I think my selected parts should perform well together, but if anyone spots a potential bottleneck or has tips for optimizing it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
5. Lastly, what sort of performance should I expect from this build? Coming from gaming on a PS5, is it going to feel comparable in terms of gaming performance?

If you're looking into using that old 650W PSU, just make sure it's still in good shape. Older PSUs can fail and lead to unstable power, which could affect your components. If you notice any signs of wear or it's been through many cycles, it might be worth getting a newer one just for safety.

Seems like a solid list, but if you're trying to save money, maybe consider a less expensive CPU cooler? You could find a decent air cooler for around $20 that should work well enough for your build instead of that $160 AIO cooler. Just make sure your chip doesn't overheat!

True, it's been a while since coolers have improved a lot! You might want to save up for a better GPU instead—it's usually the most impactful part for gaming. Just keep an eye on temperatures.
