I'm having a major issue with my PC after playing the Battlefield 6 beta. I was alt-tabbing between the game and Steam when the game froze completely. I couldn't do anything, so I had to force shut it down. Now, upon rebooting, I got stuck in a BIOS loop. Initially, my NVMe drive wasn't detected, but after reseating it, I could see my NVMe in BIOS. However, Windows won't boot and I keep getting a blue screen with a 'REGISTRY_ERROR'. I've tried startup repair and even booted from an external SSD to reinstall Windows, but those attempts have failed too. Does anyone have advice on what I should try next?

It sounds like quite a mess! Also, have you checked your Secure Boot settings? I've seen people with boot issues after game crashes find success by toggling Secure Boot on. Not sure if it’ll fix your registry error, but it's worth a shot.
I recommend trying a full and fresh install of Windows. If that still fails, it might indicate a problem with the NVMe drive itself. If you have access to another SSD or hard drive, try installing Windows on that to see if it works properly. But if you're stuck without alternatives until after the holidays, that definitely complicates things.
I don't have a backup SSD right now, and with the holiday, I'll have to see how to proceed after this Sunday.
First off, getting your dump files would really help analyze the BSOD. If you can access Windows, check the WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. Zipping the folder and uploading it to a file-sharing site will let us inspect the details of the crash. If you don't see any dump files, follow a guide online to set up Small Memory Dumps, which could provide more information.
Sure, I'll check for the dump files and follow the guide to set up the Small Memory Dumps.
Is that easy to do? What exactly is Secure Boot?
