Best Way to Upgrade 80 Laptops from Windows Home to Pro?

Hey everyone! I've got a client in the US who somehow ended up with 80 laptops running Windows Home, and we need to upgrade them all to Pro. They've got a Microsoft tenant, but they're not using any M365 services, so I can't go that route for the upgrade. I reached out to SoftwareOne for help, but it's been a month and all I've gotten are price quotes that are almost as much as buying new Windows Pro licenses altogether. It feels like such a waste! Can anyone recommend a distributor who understands Microsoft licensing and can provide a straightforward solution? I'm looking for the best options here. Thanks in advance!

Pax8 is our go-to vendor for upgrade licenses. Alternatively, you can do the upgrade directly in the Windows Store, but I haven’t tried that myself yet.

Honestly, you just need to buy 80 Windows Pro licenses. Don't overcomplicate it; get the licenses and be done with it. It's not like you're purchasing a data center here!

That's true! Just get the retail or FPP licenses for flexibility and transferability. One VL copy for reimaging rights using KMS or ADBA would make things smoother for all the laptops.

If you're looking for a quick option, just put 80 Windows 11 Pro upgrades in your cart on Newegg and start applying them. Here's the link: [Newegg Pro Upgrade](https://www.newegg.com/microsoft-windows-11-pro-upgrade/p/N82E16832351758?srsltid=AfmBOoqEXLQ5Y99z2_sNUUwx7wQwCYUIMdnE1AO1nW1Dhtu6ueY7oSkT)

We got our licenses through Ingram. Not the most reliable, but our rep was quick to respond. Just make sure you're clear on the upgrade license terms; they were one-time use only for us, which made reimaging a pain later on.

Just go ahead and buy the Windows 11 Pro and install it on all the PCs directly. Simple as that.
