I have a Dell Precision 7520 laptop that won't power on. When I press the power button, the power light flickers, but nothing else happens. It started acting up after I put it to sleep for about an hour. I bought it second-hand, so I'm not sure how old it is. I've tried powering it on both plugged in and not plugged in, but no luck. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

It sounds like your laptop isn't fully booting up. First off, make sure the battery isn't completely drained. If it doesn't power on when plugged in, try holding down the power button for 15-20 seconds to perform a hard reset. Sometimes that can fix issues like this. Also, check if there are any lights on the laptop when you press the power button, as that might give clues about what's wrong.
You might want to consider how the laptop behaved before this issue cropped up. You said it was flickering before it stopped working entirely. It may indicate a failing power supply or internal component. If you've tried the soft reset and that didn't help, maybe it's time to look into professional repair options.
Yeah, and if nothing seems to work, you might want to take the laptop apart just to see if there are loose connections inside. Sometimes, just reseating the RAM can help!
