What VA Rating Should I Look for in a UPS for My Gaming PC?

I'm considering buying a UPS for my gaming setup to protect my progress and allow for a safe shutdown in case of a power outage. My gaming PC has some pretty high specs: a Ryzen 9 7900x CPU, an RTX 4070 ti Super GPU, and an 850 watt Gold PSU. Is a 1000 VA UPS sufficient for my needs?

For a system like yours, I'd suggest going for at least a 900W or 1500VA UPS. It'll give you some headroom and ensure you're covered during any outages.

Thanks a lot!

Do you have multiple monitors connected? That can really affect the total power draw, and you might need more capacity if you do. But if it's just one, you should be fine with 1000 VA or slightly above.

I need advice too! I'm looking for something similar for my setup.

Just a heads up, if you're planning to add more components later, consider going even higher than 1000 VA. Better to have that extra capacity!
