Is it safe to reuse old PSU cables from the same model?

I recently had a weird issue with my PC shutting down unexpectedly and not booting up properly. It started happening after a power incident, and now it sometimes shuts down after trying to start up. I suspect that my power supply is failing, so I'm considering replacing it with the same model (Lian Li Toughpower GT 750W). I want to know if it's safe to use the old PSU cables from the same model or if I should get new ones.

Yeah, you can generally reuse old PSU cables as long as they look fine without any visible damage. Just make sure they're not frayed or burnt out.

Given you're experiencing power issues, I would suggest changing the cables as well. You never know if one of them is faulty, and keeping them could lead to the same problem lingering even after getting a new power supply.

Exactly! Definitely replace the cables going to the motherboard and GPU. If you have SATA devices or are powering a fan controller, you might be okay reusing those, but it's usually better to swap them all out.
