Asked By GamingGuru93 On

I'm new to Linux and not very tech-savvy, coming from a Windows background. I really want to play Pokémon Infinite Fusion but I'm completely lost after downloading Wine. How do I start or activate Wine to install this game? Any simple step-by-step help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're still having trouble, consider using Lutris. It's more user-friendly than Wine and automates much of the configuration for you. You can find various game scripts that can help install and run games like Pokémon Infinite Fusion with just a few clicks. Check out the Lutris site or the Lutris subreddit for community support. Here's a link to their [website](https://lutris.net/) and a [popular tutorial on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0Zv0yJ0tzc) to get you started!

To get started with Pokémon Infinite Fusion on Linux, you may want to consider using Steam's Proton instead of Wine. Proton can run many Windows games smoothly. Here's a quick guide:

1. First, install Steam on your Linux if you haven’t done that yet.
2. Next, enable Proton for all games in Steam settings: go to **Steam > Settings > Compatibility** and check **Enable Steam Play for all other titles**.
3. Add Pokémon Infinite Fusion to your Steam library by selecting **Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library**, then browse to the executable file you downloaded.
4. When ready to play, right-click on the game in your library, go to **Properties**, then check **Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool** to ensure it's using Proton.

This way, running the game should be straightforward since Steam handles the setup for you! Good luck!

Hey, I'm using a Steam Deck OLED too! I reached the compatibility settings but don't see the option for enabling Steam Play. Any advice?
