Why does my repeater disconnect every hour?

I bought a RE500X repeater a while back and it was working fine until recently. For the past week, I've noticed that my PC connected to it via Ethernet disconnects exactly every hour - like clockwork! The disconnections happen at 14:59, 15:59, 16:59, and so on. I checked the router logs and saw some DHCP-related messages when these disconnects occur. I tried turning off the DHCP server on the repeater, assigned a static IP, and used Google DNS on my PC. Though the disconnections stopped, I still experience lag spikes that get me kicked out of games, while other applications like Discord remain unaffected. Additionally, I've seen an error in my Event Viewer about a name resolution timing out. I'm really stuck on how to solve this. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you tried power cycling your devices? Sometimes just restarting your router and repeater can solve strange disconnection issues.

Should I reboot the whole router or just the repeater?

It sounds like a DHCP issue to me. Try increasing the DHCP lease time on your main router to something longer. That might help stabilize your connection.

I can't find that option in the settings. Also, why has this issue just started this past week when everything was fine before?

I found the option and it was set to 1 day, so that should be sufficient.
