I'm planning to upgrade from my GTX 1080 to a new RTX 5070 Ti, and I've been using my EVGA Supernova 750 G2 power supply for the past decade without any issues. I'm not sure if I should consider upgrading the power supply as well, especially since I'm on a budget and can't afford to replace it immediately. Any thoughts?

It's better to be safe than sorry. Upgrading now can save you a lot of hassle later on, especially with a newer GPU like the RTX 5070 Ti.
I would definitely recommend it. A power supply can really make or break your build, and you don’t want to risk it failing after so long.
Keep in mind that your CPU can affect the overall power draw too, even though 750W is listed as minimum for your new GPU.
You might be okay for now, but 10 years is generally when power supplies start losing efficiency. If you can, plan to upgrade to something like the Montech CENTURY II 850x in the future—it's a solid unit at a good price!
Exactly! That PSU is a great option to consider when you save up.
Totally agree! The Montech Century II is fantastic and one of the best values right now.
