Hey everyone, I recently built a new PC that was running perfectly until today. After installing a Windows 11 update last night, everything was fine this morning, but now when I try to boot, I get a black screen with loud fan noises. My Asrock X870 Pro RS motherboard indicates a CPU issue with a red LED and a yellow LED for a DRAM issue. I've cleared the CMOS and reseated the RAM sticks, even testing them one by one, but nothing has worked. I'm also hearing long beep codes from the motherboard, but I can't find any updated beep codes online. It sounds similar to someone else's experience on another forum, but they didn't post their solution. So, I'm wondering if the CPU has failed or if it might be something else causing the problem. I do have a dedicated 50 series GPU, by the way. I'd appreciate any insights!

Have you thought about updating your BIOS? Sometimes that can resolve these kinds of issues pretty quickly!
Honestly, it sounds like your motherboard could have messed up your CPU and socket. ASROCK has been having these issues with the 9800X3D for too long now! I'd recommend checking your warranty and considering an RMA since this seems to be a manufacturing defect.

Would I need to replace just the CPU, or am I looking at a mobo replacement too?
