I accidentally executed a malicious PowerShell script, and I'm really panicking. I don't know what to do next and I need some serious help. My previous attempts to post have been removed by moderators for some reason, so I'm hoping this time I can get some guidance without my post disappearing again.

You could try pasting the code into something like ChatGPT to break it down. If the mods are blocking your post due to it containing malware links, this way you can generate a discussion link and share it here for others to check out.

That's actually a smart workaround if the script's content is being flagged. Just make sure to take appropriate precautions!

Chances are, the script is malicious. I recommend wiping your machine and reinstalling everything. Also, make sure you have a separate admin account to reduce risk going forward. And just a tip: avoid pasting code from random websites; it’s usually a recipe for disaster!

Totally agree! It’s a lesson learned the hard way, but definitely worth remembering.

It's hard to say exactly what the PowerShell script did without seeing it. If you fell for a convincing fake command—like one asking you to paste something for a captcha—your system might be compromised. It's best to reach out to security professionals who can help you assess any potential damage.
