How Can I Mirror My PC to a Non-Smart TV Without HDMI Cables?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out a way to watch movies on my non-smart TV from my PC. The TV is quite a distance away, so running a long HDMI cable across the room isn't an option for me. I've looked into wireless HDMI solutions, but they're pretty pricey. I'm considering getting a cheap TV stick like AnyCast to mirror my screen instead. I've heard mixed reviews about latency, but I'm hoping it could suffice for just watching movies and series. Any advice or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Miracast dongles are another option if you want to go wireless. Just keep in mind that performance can vary depending on the dongle.

I’ve had my share of issues with Miracast on cheap Android devices before, so just be cautious if you go that route!

Honestly, latency isn’t a big deal for streaming movies. If it helps, if you can snag a used Chromecast, that might be the easiest way to cast your entire screen directly from your browser.

What about using a wireless mouse and keyboard with your PC? If you can set up a regular HDMI connection, you could make it work without needing to mirror your screen. Just a thought!
