Getting Help with My First PC Build – Fan Connections

I'm building my first PC and I'm really struggling with understanding where to plug in the cables. I have a Corsair 4000D RS case and I've left the fans in their original positions, but I'm uncertain about how to connect them to my ASRock B650 PG Lightning motherboard. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Glad to hear you've got the fans set up! If you're seeing any extra connectors that aren't plugged in, they might be for additional fan setups or RGB lighting if you have those features. Just check the manual to see where those extras go.

You should look for the CHA_FAN headers on your motherboard; that's where your case fans typically connect. It's also a good idea to check the manual for a diagram that shows all the connections. Here's a link to the manual for your ASRock B650 PG Lightning: [Manual](https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B650%20PG%20Lightning.pdf). It'll show you exactly where the headers are located and how they're labeled.

It's common to be confused with cable connections in the beginning, but the motherboard itself usually has clear labels like CHA_FAN. If your fans are daisy chained, just make sure the last one in the chain connects to the header on the motherboard.
