Trouble Booting After Cloning My SSD

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble after cloning my 500GB SSD to a new 1TB NVME drive using Acronis True Image. Everything seemed to go well, and I changed the boot order in the BIOS, but when I try to boot, it gets stuck on the Lenovo logo screen. The only way to get it to boot normally is by pressing Ctrl, Alt, and Delete. After that, it works fine. I've looked everywhere on Google, Reddit, and YouTube for solutions but haven't had any luck. I've run chkdsk and sfc /scannow and there are no errors, plus my NVME drivers are up to date and I've tried auto repair. I'm at a loss here and considering re-cloning the drive, but I'm worried it might just have the same issue. The original SSD boots without a hitch. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

Have you considered disabling Fast Startup in Windows? Sometimes that feature can interfere with booting after a clone. You could also try updating your BIOS if there's a new version available. Just a couple of things that could potentially help.

I haven't tried that yet. I'll disable Fast Startup and see if it changes anything. Thanks!

It sounds like a weird boot issue after cloning. You might want to check if the cloning process correctly copied the boot sector of your old SSD. Sometimes, cloning software can miss parts that are crucial for booting. I’d recommend looking at the Acronis settings to make sure everything is set up right for cloning. If that doesn’t work, maybe try using a different cloning tool just to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely check the boot sector and the Acronis settings.
