Hey everyone! I've been wondering if I'm going a bit crazy or if there really are areas in Azure or other Microsoft products that aren't fully accessible even with Global Admin rights. Recently, I wanted to check out the specifics of a license plan to see if Power BI Free was part of it. I'm almost certain I was able to do this in the past, but I can't seem to find the area or link anymore. There have been a few other minor instances where it feels like I used to have access to certain sections, but now they seem out of reach. So, my question is - does having a Global Admin role in Azure guarantee access to every detail and option, or are there additional roles required for complete access?

From what I know, Azure subscriptions have default permissions that limit visibility. There’s actually a checkbox in the account settings that lets you view everything, even if you haven’t got explicit access. You can edit the permissions once you can see the details. It’s kinda weird, but that’s Azure for you!
Check under Billing > Licenses, and then click on your specific license (like Premium or E3). That should show what's included with your plan.
Exactly! Sometimes you need to activate certain settings before you can see or access them.
That’s where I usually check too. I can see when my license expires, but I still can’t find out what apps are assigned to users under that plan.

Yeah, that's meant to be a backup way to access Azure subscriptions, but ideally your Global Admin account shouldn't have that much access on a regular basis.
