Hey everyone! I'm planning to invest in a new computer primarily for game development and creating game art. I'll be using software like Unreal Engine 5, Blender, Photoshop, and Substance Painter/Designer. I'll often have multiple programs open at once while I switch between them. Here's the hardware setup I've put together, priced in Swedish Krona (converted to dollars):

- Fractal Design North XL (Black) - $205.52
- AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (4.3 GHz, 144 MB) - $833.89
- INNO3D GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB X3 OC - $1,028.04
- ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI - $217.01
- Kingston 96GB (2x48GB) DDR5-6000 - $438.29
- Crucial T500 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 - $365.12
- Arctic P14 PWM PST (Black) - $13.47
- be quiet! Silent Wings 4 120mm - $62.42
- Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 (Black) - $104.28
- be quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum 850W - $229.53
- Assembly & test service - $104.28

I want to make sure this build is solid before I place the order. Thanks for your input!

Seriously, that assembly and testing fee is insane! If you’re comfortable with it, you might save a lot by doing it yourself.

Haha, true! I tried building it last time and it did not turn out well, so I was willing to pay for peace of mind!

You might want to reconsider the RTX 5070 Ti. Given your budget, you could squeeze in a 5080, which would greatly enhance your productivity. Also, 64GB of RAM should be sufficient; you could save some cash by opting for a larger single NVMe instead of two smaller ones for future upgrades.

I thought the 5070 Ti would be a good choice, but if the 5080's only slightly more, I’ll look into it! I’ve reached around 70-80% RAM usage before, so I figured going for 96GB would be smart, but I guess I should evaluate that.

Honestly, a lot of these parts seem quite overpriced. It might be worth shopping around for better deals or waiting for sales. Just a heads up!

Yeah, that's true! I think Swedish prices have taxes included, which can really bump up costs.

What about just getting a MacBook? It's decent for many tasks.

If I wasn’t using Unreal Engine, I’d consider it, but that’s kind of a deal-breaker, right?

Do you have a PCPartPicker link for your build? You might find it cheaper to hop over to Finland and grab everything there.

I didn’t have one initially, but I made a list! Found a couple of parts that were incompatible, so thanks for the tip! Here’s the link: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6fZcDj](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6fZcDj). I wish I had time for a trip to Helsinki, but I need this PC quickly!
