Am I using the right power supply for my RX 6700 XT?

I recently purchased an FSP HV PRO 650W 80+ Bronze PSU, which has a single cable that provides 2x 6+2 PCIe connectors. My concern is that I want to use it with an RX 6700 XT, which requires a 6-pin and an 8-pin power connection. Is it safe to plug both PCIe connectors from this one cable into the GPU?

It's probably okay! The 6-pin connector can handle up to 75W, so theoretically, you're looking at a maximum of around 225W through that cable. Just keep an eye out for any problems like lag, crashes, or shutdowns—they could hint at a power issue.

While it's technically okay to use a pig tail connector, it’s not usually recommended. Stick with the cable the PSU came with for now and test it out. If you encounter crashes, then you might want to think about upgrading your PSU.

It's likely fine for now, but if you have the option to return it and get a different PSU, that might be a safer bet if you can manage it.

Yes, it's safe to use both connectors from that single cable. It’s designed that way, so you're good to go for now. Just be cautious, especially if you notice any performance issues.
