Could My CPU and RAM Issues Be Due to a Compatibility Problem?

I recently built a new PC and reused my RAM and motherboard. Initially, I encountered a RAM error that flicked to a CPU error light and then back to RAM when I was testing. After troubleshooting, I removed the RAM sticks and switched their slots but didn't see any improvement. Eventually, I tried just one RAM stick in the leftmost slot, which eliminated the RAM error but left me with a CPU error instead. I then reverted to my old CPU, but now that one isn't working either. I'm worried I may have accidentally damaged a pin in the AM4 socket since I noticed one that looks blank. I'd appreciate any insights on this as it's my first time building a PC, and I hope I haven't broken anything! Here are my specs:

**Old Build**:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 Rev 1
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB
- CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
- GPU: GTX 1080
- PSU: EVGA Supernova 550 G2
- Cooler: Wraith Stealth (stock)

**New Build**:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 Rev 1 (same as old)
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB (same as old)
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X3D
- GPU: 5070 Ti
- PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-750 Gold ATX 3 750W
- Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE Black

I also updated the BIOS to F52e, which should make the new CPU compatible, right? However, why would my old CPU have the same issues?
