Hey everyone! I just got my new 5070 ti Gaming Trio, but I'm running into a bit of a problem. My current power supply, an RM 750x gold standard, doesn't have the right connection for it. Is there any way I can get the right cable from Corsair to connect it to the 3-pin adapter that came with the graphics card, or am I better off buying a new power supply? Thanks for any advice!

Honestly, it’s best to get a PSU with proper connectivity for a higher-tier card like the 5070. I upgraded mine for peace of mind—it’s just not worth the risk of any issues cropping up.

Which one did you end up going for?

I’d recommend avoiding adapters if you can. There have been some issues with the 12vhp pigtail adapters, mostly with the older cards. You might want to grab a new PSU like the Rosewill one I linked; you can't go wrong with a solid power supply. Plus, the 850W version gives you some future-proofing.
