Struggling with poor performance on my new PC build

I recently built a new PC with the following specs: ASUS TG B650MPW motherboard, 9070XT GPU, AMD 7500F CPU, AQUAELITE v2 360 AIO cooler, ASGARD 32GB RAM (16x2 6000mhz, advertised and clocked with EXPO II, base speed is 4800mhz), a KINGSTON NV2 1TB SSD (R/W speeds of 3500/2100 MB/s), and a COOLERMASTER V750W power supply. I'm currently running BIOS version 3279 and Windows is updated with KB5063878, KB5059093, KB5054273, and KB5050575. However, I'm experiencing slow boot times (1 minute to user login, with another 30 seconds afterward) and idle temperatures around 40°C for the CPU, motherboard, and GPU. I'm really confused and not sure why performance is so poor. Can anyone help?

First off, make sure all your updates are current. Did you check if the motherboard and GPU drivers are up to date? If you haven’t already, you might also want to consider a fresh reinstall of Windows to rule that out.

I've done all the updates for the GPU and motherboard, plus this is my third fresh install of Windows.

There’s been chatter about that KB5063878 update causing issues with drives, both m.2 and SATA. It might be worth checking out. You know, a lot of folks have downgraded back to Windows 10 because of similar problems with compatibility.

Wow, I didn't realize that! I actually did downgrade to Windows 10 for my fourth install and it’s been running flawlessly since.
