Upgrading My GPU: Do I Need Specific PCI-e Cables?

I'm currently using a GTX 1650, which is getting pretty outdated, and I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. My power supply unit (PSU) is non-modular but has two PCI-E 6+2PIN cables. I want to know if I can use any PCI-e cable that matches or if I need to stick to specific 8-pin cables. I'm considering the 5060 Ti for my upgrade and want to make sure everything will be compatible before I make a purchase. I'm still new to PC building and would appreciate any guidance.

You should check how many watts your PSU can handle. It usually has that info labeled on it. If it can deliver enough power, you're good to go! The 5060 Ti only needs one 8-pin connector, so as long as your PSU isn't super low on wattage, you should be fine.

Got it, thanks! Is a 600W PSU sufficient for that upgrade?
