I'm looking to upgrade from my current NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 and need some help deciding on a new GPU. I'm primarily going to use this upgrade for gaming, video editing with DaVinci Resolve, and 3D animation. Right now, I'm torn between the 5070 Ti and the 5060 Ti, mainly because of the VRAM on the latter. My budget is around $800, but I'm hoping to catch a deal during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, TridentZ RGB Series 16GB x4, MSI MEG X570 UNIFY, and an EVGA SuperNOVA Gold 1000W. Also, I've noticed DaVinci Resolve has issues with AMD GPUs, so I might want to steer clear of those. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'd recommend the 5070 Ti. It offers solid performance, especially for gaming and video editing, and it should fit your budget nicely.
Since your budget is $800, you might want to consider the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti too. The 5070 Ti is around $749 for some variants. Just keep in mind that while the 5060 Ti has decent VRAM, it doesn't match the performance boost you'd get from the 5070.
Based on your needs, I'd suggest the 5070 Ti as well. It's not just about the VRAM; the overall performance is where you'll see real gains. If you're considering waiting for Black Friday, just remember that the GPU market can change quite a bit by then, and discounts may vary.
Thanks for the advice! It sounds like the 5070 Ti is the way to go.

I appreciate the input! I'm definitely leaning towards the 5070 Ti. Any idea what the super cards might cost?
