Hey everyone! I built my PC back in 2020 right before prices went up, spending about $1,200. It's been great for school edits and gaming, but now it seems to be struggling. I just tried playing Dark Souls 3 and was hit with terrible lag, plus Fortnite freezes even on the menu! I'm not super technical, so I'm unsure whether to upgrade a few parts or just buy a whole new setup. My specs right now are:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT 6-Core
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
- Motherboard: Asus Prime B550M-A
- SSDs: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB and ST4000DM001-2CV104
Lately, the PC is overheating and even the Bluetooth stopped working. If you have any advice, I'd appreciate it! I'd prefer to just upgrade a couple of parts if that's possible, but I'm open to getting a new setup if necessary. I live near a Micro Center, so that's an option too. Thanks!

You’ve got a couple of options! If you're looking for a budget-friendly upgrade, the 5800XT would work great, or you could consider the 5060ti for a boost in performance. However, if you're thinking about a more comprehensive upgrade to AM5, just keep in mind that it'll set you back around $420 or more for the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Just remember to plan for those costs!

So basically I'm looking at spending over a grand, huh?
