Should I Build My Own PC or Buy a Prebuilt?

I'm trying to decide whether I should build my own PC or go with a pre-built option. I started putting together some parts using Microcenter's custom PC builder tool. My main use for this PC is gaming, mostly at 1080p, but I'm also considering an upgrade to 1440p in the future. I'm looking for suggestions on whether I'm missing anything important, or if anything in my build should be changed.

I checked your second build link, and it's looking better! But I still think it needs some adjustments. You can get a decent motherboard for around $150-$200; some cheaper B850 models can do the same job. Also, you might save around $120 by opting for a 9600X instead of the 9700X. Don't forget, there are 2TB SSDs that are just a few bucks more than the 1TB Samsung SSD. Plus, you could consider a different case; for instance, the Montech Air 903 comes with more fans included for a lower price.

Instead of spending $150 on an AIO cooler, you might want to go with a Thermalright PA120 for just $35. Also, consider getting a better power supply. If you can, upgrade your GPU to either a 9070XT or a 5070Ti for better performance.
