I recently upgraded my PC setup with a new motherboard, RAM, CPU, and GPU, specifically the ASUS B850, an RTX 4070 Super Ti, and a Ryzen 9 9950X 3D. However, I've been experiencing minor stutters during gameplay, especially in CS2, which I suspect might be due to the game's optimization rather than my hardware. I capped my in-game FPS to 500, which has improved things somewhat, but I feel that my current setup should deliver a smoother performance. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to PCs, and I'm hesitant to dive into the BIOS, aside from making sure the clock speed is set correctly. Any advice on whether overclocking is necessary or if there are simpler tweaks I can make would be greatly appreciated!

I doubt overclocking will help with your current issues. If you’re not comfortable accessing the BIOS, I recommend against overclocking altogether. Also, have you enabled EXPO for your RAM? That could make a difference!

Yeah, I was hoping for some easy fixes before diving into overclocking. I'll definitely check on the EXPO setting when I get home!
