How do you keep up with new libraries and tools while working remotely?

Since moving to remote work, I've noticed I'm missing the casual exchanges and recommendations that come from being in an office. I often find out about new libraries, frameworks, and tools long after they've been established, which can be frustrating. I used to contribute to open source projects a lot and want to get back into that, especially when projects are in their early stages, as I think there's a lot to learn from being involved early on. I'm curious how others stay updated and discover new technologies early. Do you have a specific routine for keeping up, like reading newsletters, following blogs, using RSS feeds, or participating in community chats? I'd love to know your strategies!

Honestly, I don't stress about keeping up constantly. I just dive into new tools when I actually need them. If you have a strong foundation in programming, picking up something new isn't daunting at all. There hasn’t been any groundbreaking change in web development for over a decade, so I focus on tried-and-true solutions for work and mess around with new stuff in my personal projects.
