Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on upgrading my PC hardware, and I'd love your input on what to tackle first. Here are my current specs that I'm considering upgrading:
- **CPU**: Intel Core i7 9700K
- **Motherboard**: Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi LGA 1151
- **RAM**: 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 (total 32GB)
- **Storage**: 2 Samsung SSD 870 EVO (1TB each) and 1 Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus (1TB)
I'd like suggestions on what to upgrade first, and it would be awesome if you could provide options for both high-end and more budget-friendly upgrades. Just to note, my GPU (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090) and PSU (1000W Lian Li EG1000G 80 Plus Gold) were upgraded recently, so no changes there. Thanks for your help!

Going for the CPU, RAM, and motherboard upgrade is solid advice. Once you have the funds, consider something like the Intel i7-12700K or even the i9 if you want high-end performance. For RAM, getting 32GB at 3600MHz would really boost your system. Don't rush it, though; take your time and grab them as you can!
I'd recommend upgrading your CPU, motherboard, and RAM as a package. Those three components work closely together, so it's good to update them together when possible. If you're on a budget, you could look into a newer Intel CPU model like the i5 series alongside a compatible motherboard and some faster RAM. Just remember to check for compatibility!
I hear you on the budget, but you can always do it one part at a time, which definitely helps. Start with the CPU if you can manage that!

Thanks for the tips! What’s the best option for RAM? Like how many gigs should I aim for?
