How to Handle a Shortage of PCIE Power Cables for My 3080?

I'm building a new PC with a 3080 graphics card, which needs three PCIE power cables. Unfortunately, my power supply only came with two PCIE cables and two CPU cables. I'm starting to worry that I might have made a mistake. I've heard that using third-party cables can be risky. What are my options here? Any tips for a novice builder would be super helpful!

You can actually use the two available cables by connecting both of the connectors from one cable and one from the other cable to your GPU. Just make sure not to overload a single cable by connecting too many to the same power supply output. That way, you should be good to go!

Yeah, I agree! Just double-check that each of those cables has the right connectors, and you shouldn't run into any issues.

Right! Each PCIe cable typically has two connectors for the GPU, so it should work out.
