How to Bypass HDCP Issues with PS3 and Capture Card?

Hey everyone! I've connected my Xbox to my internal capture card for streaming, and it worked flawlessly. But now I'm trying to set up my PS3 using a splitter to bypass the HDCP, which seems to be a common roadblock. I want to achieve the setup: PS3 > Splitter > Capture Card > Monitor so that I can have both sound from the PS3 and my PC. I've read that some HDMI splitters can strip HDCP, but I'm uncertain if that's true. If it works, would the configuration PS3 > HDCP Stripper Splitter > Regular Splitter > Capture Card > Monitor work? I'd appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!

Have you checked the PS3 settings for HDCP? Unlike Xbox, which only enables HDCP for certain streaming apps, the PS3 has it enabled all the time by default. You can usually disable it in the settings, but keep in mind that when you do, you might not be able to watch paid content like Netflix. So you’d have to toggle the setting if you switch between gameplay and streaming.

Sadly, I don't think there's an option to disable HDCP in the PS3 settings. It seems to be locked in to always be on.
