I just bought a new graphics card, the same model as my old one, because I've been having issues with my monitor turning off even though the PC stays on. This problem only happens when I'm gaming. I ran a test today, and my GPU's hotspot temperature reached around 90-96 degrees. Could this high temperature be the reason my monitor keeps shutting off?

GPU sagging can definitely contribute to thermal issues, especially if it's causing uneven contact with the cooler. If you’ve fixed the sag but your hotspot still reaches high temps while gaming, it’s quite possible that's triggering the monitor shutdown. It seems like your PC runs fine outside of gaming, but when you push it with harder games, the heat might be causing it to cut off.
It’s normal for the hotspot temperature to be 10-20 degrees higher than the core temp, but if the difference is like 25-30 degrees, it might indicate a cooling issue. You might want to check the thermal paste and make sure the GPU is mounted properly. If your hotspot is hitting 90-96, that could definitely cause issues. You should keep an eye on it during gaming sessions.
