I recently updated the BIOS on my B450M Steel Legend motherboard to an older version (2.0). The update went smoothly, and I was told it was successful. However, after the update, my PC won't boot; it just keeps restarting with a black screen. I've already tried resetting the CMOS and even removed the battery for 15 minutes, but I'm still facing the same issue. Any suggestions on what else I could try?

Sounds frustrating! Since you can't get into the BIOS due to the constant restarts, you might want to check if the update altered any boot settings. If you have access to a different PC, try creating a USB drive with the BIOS recovery version on it. You might be able to boot from that and fix it. Also, double-check if all hardware connections are secure.
It might be a good idea to try a BIOS recovery process if your motherboard supports it. Usually, you can use a USB drive with the BIOS file on it. But given your situation, you might need to look into clearing the CMOS again, maybe using the jumper method if removing the battery didn't work.
