I'm trying to figure out if spending an extra CA$85 (about US$62) on a 9600X is justified compared to a 7600X for gaming. I found both on Newegg, and I noticed that the 9600X comes with a cooler, but I already have an AIO cooler, so that doesn't really factor in for me. I also just realized that I was looking at one price in USD and the other in CAD, so the actual difference is only about CA$20 (or US$15). Anyone have thoughts on this?

Honestly, I wouldn't go for the 9600X if you're primarily gaming. You can get better value with the cheaper options like the 7600 or even the 7600, 7600X, or 7700 models. Just choose the one that's less expensive and fits your needs.
That's interesting! I actually picked up a 7600 for US$15 less than the 7600X. Do you think I should stick with the 7600?
