Hey everyone! I recently made the upgrade to a PNY 5070 TI and I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 7600 as my CPU. However, I've been noticing that the CPU seems to be bottlenecking my performance, especially in games like Dune Awakening. I'm considering a few things:
1) I've heard the x3d chips would be a great upgrade for performance. Which specific one should I aim for to pair well with my 5070 TI?
2) Also, will I need to upgrade my motherboard or power supply? Right now, I'm on an ASRock B650M and using a 750 watt EVGA 80 Plus Gold PSU.

Just a heads-up: there have been reports of ASRock motherboards having issues with x3d CPUs. If you're planning on upgrading to one, you might want to consider switching to a different brand to be safe.
You shouldn’t need to upgrade your motherboard just yet, but definitely check if you need a BIOS update. For the power supply, I suggest going for at least an 850W, but a 1000W would be ideal for future-proofing. For CPU, the 7800X3D is a fantastic choice if you're focusing on gaming performance.
What made you think that your CPU is bottlenecking? The Ryzen 5 7600 should pair decently with the 5070 TI. If you're seeing 100% CPU usage and frequent frame stuttering, it could just be how certain games, like those using UE5, are optimized. Try adjusting some settings to see if that helps!
