Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and I'm trying to decide between the 5060 Ti and the 9060 XT, both 16GB variants. The 9060 XT is about 150 AUD cheaper for me. I plan to stream and record videos, and I'm upgrading from a 1660 Super. I'm pairing the GPU with a Ryzen 5 9600x. What do you think I should go with?

For just a hundred bucks difference, I'd say it's not worth it to go with the 5060 Ti. The 9060 XT gives you great performance for the price, especially if you're not focused on ray tracing.

The best bang for your buck is definitely the 9060 XT 16GB. Go for something else only if you specifically need features that NVIDIA offers. Otherwise, the price difference isn’t justifiable.

Honestly, either GPU would work for you, but if you want to save money, the 9060 XT is a solid choice. The ray tracing performance might not be as good, and FSR 4 isn’t as capable as DLSS, but in terms of raw power, they’re pretty comparable. Plus, you'll have some cash left for other gear.

Typically, I'd lean towards the 9060 XT, but remember that it has a slight edge in regular gaming performance, while the 5060 Ti shines in ray tracing. If you plan to play those types of games, consider the 5060 Ti instead. But for general gaming and streaming, the 9060 XT should suit you well!

Actually, I misspoke earlier; the 9060 XT is generally a bit slower in both raster performance and ray tracing. So keep that in mind!
