I'm planning to buy a GPU next month and can't decide between the 3060 and the 6700 XT. I've seen a lot of benchmarks and they seem to vary a lot based on the game. The CPU bottleneck with my i5 9600k isn't a big concern since I don't play very demanding games, so I'm looking for unbiased insights on which GPU would be better for my needs. Here are some games I'll be playing: Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, The Last of Us Part 1/2, heavily modded Skyrim (over 1000 mods), Wuthering Waves, and Ghost of Tsushima. Apologies for the formatting; I'm posting this from my phone.

I have to recommend the 6700 XT. I currently use an i5 9600K with a 7800 XT, but I've also tried the 3060 12GB before and I think the 6700 XT is the better option overall.
Reports say the 6700 XT is around 30% better than the 3060 on average, but I've seen it vary – some say it's only about 8% faster in real-world applications. Just do your research based on the games you like to play!
I suggest sticking with NVIDIA. Their drivers and performance are generally more reliable in my experience. But yeah, weigh your options!
I'd go for the 6700 XT! I played a lot of those games at 1440p on a 6700 XT, and they ran pretty smoothly. I can't comment on the 3060, though, since I haven't tried it out myself. But it should handle your list well.
The 3060 with 12GB may struggle in some games at 1440p, especially compared to the 6700 XT. If you're looking for better performance, the 6700 XT seems like a solid choice.
That’s misleading – the difference isn't that big in every game. You should check benchmarks for the specific titles you plan to play.
