I'm mostly into competitive games like League of Legends, Valorant, and CS2, and I occasionally stream. I'm wondering if I really need more than 8GB of VRAM for these types of games or if that's sufficient.

Honestly, 8GB is enough for your needs right now. You won’t run into problems unless you start diving into more graphics-heavy games.

If you're mainly playing competitive multiplayer games, 8GB of VRAM should be just fine for you. The real issues with VRAM usually pop up in graphically intense single-player games, not in competitive titles.

Yeah, I agree! Most competitive games are designed to run well on lower specs.

Nope, you’re good with 8GB for those games. It’ll be a long time before you need more than that for competitive gaming.

Exactly, competitive games are usually optimized well for various hardware.
