I've been using my computer without any issues for the past eight months. Yesterday, everything was working fine, but today when I tried to play some games, they wouldn't launch. After some digging, I realized my SSD isn't appearing at all. I'm looking for suggestions on what could be wrong.
For clarity: This is not a new SSD, I've updated my drivers, I haven't opened up the case so no wires could have gotten loose, and I've rebooted the computer multiple times. In the storage device manager, there's nothing listed for the SSD, and it says everything is updated.

Are you using Windows 11? Sometimes I’ve heard there can be issues with certain updates causing drives to not show up correctly. Just a thought!
I think I might have found the solution for you! Try taking the SSD out and reseating it. I did that on my PC and it started showing up again after a restart. Just check to see if it’s fully operational now that you’ve reseated it!
Thanks for the suggestion! I just tried that and it seems to have worked! I'm glad I didn't have to get a new SSD.

Yes, I'm on Windows 11. Maybe it’s a compatibility thing.
