Why does Windows 11 feel slower than Windows 10?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to Windows 11, thinking it wouldn't be too bad. Overall, I'm okay with the changes, but I've noticed that certain things, like file explorer and right-clicking on apps, take longer to respond. It feels a bit sluggish compared to Windows 10. My laptop isn't ancient; it has a Ryzen 3500u, 8GB of RAM, and 2GB of VRAM with Vega 8 graphics. I don't think it's a hardware issue. I'm looking for suggestions on how to make Windows 11 run as smoothly as Windows 10. Any help would be appreciated!

Sometimes after an update, the system needs some time to finish indexing everything, so give it a little while. Also, considering your setup, I recommend upgrading your RAM. You have integrated graphics taking up 2GB, so more RAM would really help performance. Maybe just grab another 8GB stick?

If you can, try to get another 8GB RAM stick, or even a single 16GB stick. It’ll definitely help boost your performance. Just make sure the new RAM is compatible with your existing one to avoid issues.

I actually tried getting another 8GB last year, but it didn't work with my old RAM since they were different speeds. The laptop just wouldn't boot up properly. It was really frustrating! Do you think mixing RAM speeds is a bad idea?
