I recently upgraded my graphics card from an MSI 1660 Super to an Nvidia 5060. Although the connector slot on my Asrock B550 motherboard is the same size, the Nvidia card is actually smaller. It fits into the slot, but the GPU isn't functioning. I've checked compatibility online and it seems they should work together. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if there's another issue at play. I already used DDU to install the new drivers, but I'm still having problems.

The Nvidia 5060 uses an x8 PCIe slot instead of the typical x16, which explains why it's shorter. This shouldn't stop it from working though. Can you tell me more about the issue? What do you mean by 'it doesn't work'?
Only one of my monitors is functioning, and I can’t see the GPU performance stats in Task Manager, so I'm pretty sure it’s not working.
The 5060 runs on PCIe 5.0 x8 compared to the x16 on the 1660 Super, so it will be shorter but it should still fit in the same slot. When you say it doesn't work, what happens when you try to boot it up?
Only one monitor turns on, and I can’t see the GPU showing up in Task Manager. This makes me think something's off with the GPU.
The GPU might be having issues with older platforms, especially with the 50 series. You might want to try adjusting the PCIe generation in your BIOS to either 3 or 4; this could solve your problem.
