I'm running low on storage with my 1TB drive and I'm a complete beginner when it comes to PC stuff. I have an MSI Pro B650 motherboard and the most I've done is install RAM. I'm considering buying an external portable SSD to store my games. Does it make sense to get a USB-C drive? I'm looking at a 2TB SSD that offers 2100MB/s speed for $140. Right now, I'm uninstalling games to save space, but I'd love to keep my collection intact and launch games from the external drive. Should I go for it?

Honestly, I'd recommend going for an internal SSD rather than an external one. Your motherboard should have several M.2 slots, so you could install an NVMe drive directly. It might give you better performance for gaming than a portable drive.
Would I need to remove any components like the GPU to install it?
