I'm planning to buy the MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard soon, and I've been checking out its spec sheet. It lists several USB ports, including: 4 USB 2.0 ports (front), 4 USB 5Gbps Type-A ports (front), 1 USB 20Gbps Type-C port (front), and others on the rear. However, when I added this motherboard to my PC Part Picker list, it only shows fewer front USB ports. Why is there a discrepancy between the official MSI website and PC Part Picker regarding the number of front ports?

Yeah, I noticed the same issue! It's often the case that databases like PC Part Picker don't have the latest or most detailed info. You should definitely rely on the manufacturer’s site for anything crucial like this.
Looks like MSI's official site is the go-to for accurate specs! Sometimes, PC Part Picker can be a bit off. I’d recommend trusting the official manual or website for the most reliable information. You can also verify by checking pictures of the motherboard if you want a visual confirmation.

Thanks for confirming! I thought I was going crazy for a second. Guess I'll just stick with the MSI specs.
