I recently built a high-end PC two weeks ago and have been experiencing some frustrating microstuttering while gaming. Even though the games I'm playing aren't particularly demanding on the GPU or CPU, my screen sometimes freezes for up to a minute, which is really annoying. I've already reinstalled Windows twice, completely deleting the partitions, as I initially thought a virus might be causing these issues.
Here are my specs:
- 9070 XT Graphics Card
- 9800X3D Processor
- 32 GB RAM
- 1 TB NVMe M.2 PCIe 5.0 Drive
During gameplay, my resource usage is around 55-65%, and temperatures stay well below 60 degrees Celsius. I've updated all my drivers, but I'm still at a loss for a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked if XMP is enabled for your RAM? Sometimes not running at the rated speed can cause performance issues. It might be worth looking into that and making sure everything is set up correctly!
If you think malware might be a problem, it's good that you've done a clean reinstall. Just to be safe, you could run a malware scan using a reliable tool to rule that out completely.
I totally get your frustration! Microstuttering can be a real pain. I dealt with it for half a year before I found my solution. I disabled the Windows Game Bar and started using RivaTuner to lock the frame rates in the games where I noticed the stutters. It really helped smooth things out for me. Give it a shot and see if it helps you too!
